Melvin was born on January 25, 1964 and passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. He was born on January 25, 1964, in Portland, OR the son of C. Patricia Renfro and Melvin Lacy Elisha Renfro, Sr. Melvin, also known as Cool Breeze and Chef BoyarBreeze, went to school in the Portland area, including Fairview Elementary School, Colview Middle School, and Reynolds High School (class of 1982).
My condolence to the family of my great friend, Mel Renfro. I had the pleasure to work and socialize with him on a lot of occasions. He used to come to the house for fajitas and watching football games. He will be missed. May you Rest in Peace.

To Melvin's Mom, Just want to say , you had a wonderful , nice, mannerly son. I am glad I got acquainted with him on a flight from Portland to Dallas many yrs ago and we were good friends and talked quite often I am just so glad I got to know him. He always had good things to say about his MOM. My heart goes out to you in this time.
