Not sure what to say?

Dear Helen, my cousin, and Mike, John, Connie & Jim.
We send our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear husband and father. We recall with warmth your visit here in Virrat, Finland. We wish you all the best and may God bless you.
Sincerely,
Simo Kantoniemi and family, Finland

Dr. Kosiak was indeed a wonderful man. He always greeted us with a smile and showed concern for our family. He never forgot his neighborhood friends. RIP

I have many fond memories of Mike when he visited his parents in Chisholm, MN when I was growing up. He had a wonderful life with his family and friends and will be missed by all.

Dear Mike, John, Connie, & Jim,
We send our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear father. We were at the memorial service last night but unfortunately had to leave at the end and we were not able to personally talk to each of you. What a wonderful tribute you all gave to your Father (& Kristine gave to her grandfather). The memories and funny stories you told were priceless. Know that we keep all of you, your mother, and your entire family in our thought and prayers.

I had the good fortune to work with Dr. Kosiak on the Rehab floor at St.Paul Ramsey Hospital as a young nurse back in the 1970's.I have many great memories of Dr. Kosiak - he was such a character, so down-to-earth, and so available to the nurses who were caring for his patients. Whenever I floated back to the rehab floor in the 80's he would greet me warmly and show such interest in my family. I was lucky enough to hear him give his presentation about his research on pressure ulcers. As I...

To the entire Kosiak family:

We were so saddened to hear about Uncle Mike. We wish we could be there with you but know we are certainly keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Love Keith and Lisa Clark

Family of Mike Koziak,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I first met Mike in 1970 when he was the Director of PM&R at St. John's Hospital on Maria St. I knew him at St. Paul Ramsey and had him as both patient and friend from those days until present. We used to enjoy coffee at SPR after his retirement when he would join us after taking Mrs. K to have her hair fixed. I truly enjoyed him and will miss him. I had hoped to make his visitation; but, find I won't be able to. You are all...

My condolences to the Kosiak family. Dr. Kosiak was one of my faculty when I was a PM&R resident at the University of Minnesota and then my first boss after I finished training. He was a down to earth caring physician who shared his clinical expertise and treated all members of his team at Ramsey with respect. His strong devotion to his family was evident. I will always recall and appreciate his teaching and mentoring.

How do I sum up Mike Kosiak: Honest, dependable, proud, family man, caring, down to earth, practical, pragmatic, good spirited, giving, great friend, great mentor, he made this world a better place.

I met Mike in 1975 when I was Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident. I was the first resident to rotate to St Paul Ramsey hospital. It was the start of a great relationship. Mike hired me after my residency in 1976. He was a wonderful role model. He was a friend to all...
