“Thinking of you today and always!
“Aileen, Jim, Stephanie, Madison, and Connor--My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mike was a unique individual who will be held in your hearts forever. The good, healthy memories will sustain you and bring you comfort. Bless each of you. Love, Dianne Aucamp
“Michael was a colleague of mine at McGraw-Hill and we became fast friends and kindred spirits. I appreciated his keen wit, intellect and sense of humor. He stayed with me and my husband, Tom, at our Orlando, Florida home several years ago. After Michael and I left McGraw-Hill, we stayed in touch and would get together whenever he was in Orlando or I was traveling in the Chicago area. I remember introducing him to the music of Eva Cassidy. He promptly bought every CD Eva Cassidy ever recorded...
“Happy Father's Day, Michael. You were a wonderful father to Madison and Connor. Love you!
“Stephanie I am so sorry for your tremendous loss my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family hold onto the many beautiful memories that you and your family have and remember you now have an angel in heaven Love always, Mary Ann
“My condolences to all of Michael's family. I didn't know Michael but I know his mother Aileen. I have followed his journey and admired his strength during his battle. He fought the good fight and showed me how it is done. Rest in peace and may God bless your family.
“Michael, I miss you, but know you are in a better place. Knowing you has made many people better for the experience, and you will always be remembered.
“Aileen & Michael's family. Please know that my prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. I have been there and truly do know how you feel and the continued heartache you will feel. Take comfort in knowing you were there for him and his suffering has now ended and he is in a better place. Hugs, Judi Dawley
I am so honored to have had you as a friend. You're love of life and the arts inspired me to stop and smell the roses. You also touched the heart of my daughter Haleigh with your silly sense of humor. Thank you for that. I will miss you.
