Not sure what to say?

Glad I got to know you mike. I had a great time working with in Milpitas. You have taught me and many others valuable lessons that I will keep with me for the rest of my years. All I can say is we lost a great friend and mentor you will surely always be missed but never forgotten "rest in peace mike"

Take care Choo-Choo. Pour the steam on up there.

I just want you to know how very much you will missed buddy. You were one of the guys I ALWAYS looked forward to working with over the years!Glad I got to spend some quality time with YOU on the last job WE did...@ ..[RUSSEL CITY}...WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN 'YOURE' CITY SIR...LOL, WE HAD LOTS OF LAUGHTER,STORIES, AND our special BROTHERHOOD creed.IT WAS/IS A UNIQUE,SOLID,STRONG, BONDING THAT WILL STAY IN MY HEART FOREVER MIKE,ALWAYS!GOD BLESS YOU MY BROLIER MAKER BUDDY MICHAEL

Mike was our Boilermaker on SP 2467,and without him the Engine wouldn't have ever run again.Steve Lee the Vice President of Heritage Fleet Operations for the Union Pacific Railroad called him "Iron Mike"and that's how I'll remember my friend,The Boilermaker.God Bless Lad.

Michael had a lot to do with one of my best st Patrick's days EVER! At least what I can remember of it. Pretty sure it had something to do with a bottle of bushmills!!!!
Mabe he and Tim are toasting us as we speak?!
I'm so sorry for your loss. There are no words...
Love , Mary keefe

We really don't know how to express the loss of such a kind, generous and genuine friend. I was touched that he went out and bought a tablecloth after my "etiquette" sermon about the benefits of eating (even in the wilderness) on a tablecloth, but he admitted he hadn't used it yet. And we will never forget the Rocket of July 4, 2013. We will miss you terribly.
Bert and Henriette Frisbie, Copperopolis, Ca

Mike was a good guy. Highest praise I can give.
