Sandy and family, just got a message about Mike's passing. Glad I had a chance to play a round of golf with Mike last year at Tri County. Gave us a chance to rekindle memories of our days at General Mills. One never knows when they will be called home. I'm happy to have been a part of Mike's life and pass on condolences to you and the family.

Dear Amy,
We were saddened to hear of the passing of your father & husband to mom. We extend our sincerest & deepest condolences to you, your mom, sisters & all family members. As each day passes, may God's love & mercy bring peace & comfort to your grieving & hurting hearts. God Bless you all.

Sandy and family, I worked with Mike at GMI and played golf when I was still in Buffalo. Always made sure to get together when he was in Minneapolis and considered him a good friend. My deepest sympathy to your family and will keep Mike in our prayers.

Dear Sandy, Jerry and family. It's with heartfelt regrets and sincere love for you all that we say goodbye to Mike. God bless and comfort you as you reflect on all the wonderful memories. Mike was a character guy with a humble spirit, love is his heart and dedication to family and friends. He will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I flew with Mike in Vietnam where he was a highly decorated crew member with the 18th Special Operations Squadron flying 140 combat missions on AC-119K "Stinger" gunships. He was decorated with 2 Distinguished Flying Crosses and 9 Air Medals. He faced his illness with the same courage that he showed then. He has now taken his final flight and I will miss him dearly.
