Not sure what to say?

I was playing golf this weekend and hit a good fairway shot. I said,"Down the middle, Millie", knowing she was in hospice, but not knowing anything else. She was my only Aunt for many years and sister-in-law to my mother, Evelyn Bolstad Ertl. She must have been an incredible mother of my 5 cousins and I grieve your loss. I hope we stay in touch as you all go on without her. Love, Carolyn Campbell

I was playing golf in FL on Sat.and hit a shot down the fairway. I said,"down the middle Millie". I knew she was in hospice, but did not know anything else. I guess I played that round for my Aunt. All of her family has my heartfelt sympathy. She was very special and must have been a wonderful mother and will be missed by all who knew her. My mother, Evelyn Bolstad Ertl, loved her as a sister and I loved her as my Aunt.

We will miss her intelligence and wit. She was a light in our lives and set an example of grace in aging. We will always remember her queenly wave as she ascended on the stair master. Our thoughts are with her wonderful family.

We will miss Millie at Hazeltine. She was a joy to play golf with and such wonderful lady. We know she will have a happy reunion with Les!

Keen intelligence, sincerity, courage and compassion. It was a privilege to be a part of her life.

Seeing Millie and Les at a distance, out on the golf course, was always a lovely and inspiring sight. She'd be pleased that you are Celebrating her life, with a round of golf and dinner together at Hazeltine, where she will always Be one of the Great Ladies of the game.Bless you all.

I remember watching Les and Millie play often at Hazeltine...and Millie's gracious hospitality when my daughter, Becky, and I played at Bay Hill. She will be missed.

Les and Family,
My sympathies to all of you on the loss of your dear mother. May the wonderful memories comfort you during this most difficult time.

Helayne Bruntjen
