I met Nicky when the he started the bridge job in Livonia. He and I talked for a long time. We were the same age and we talked about his in laws with the fire service. He was very easy going and a very likable person. I was working in Texas when I heard he was killed in car accident. We had talked about looking forward to retiring soon.
My prayers go out to his family. I hope God converts them in this time of their great lost.

Nickie...THE BEST person who came into my life. He thought me so much at work that i will carry with me and made me see things in a different light when the chips where down. Chris, your words at the end of the service, you could have not described him more perfect. Will miss him alot. My prayers are with you all.
