Norman Christman Obituary

Norman K. Christman "Chris" September 26, 1931 - June 3, 2012 Norman K. Christman, "Chris", 80, of Bakersfield, passed away Sunday. He was born to the late Grant Christman and Rita Kimbel, in Loma Linda, CA. He married the love of his life Jeanette in 1953 and moved to Bakersfield in 1981 where he retired from Lone Star Trucking. Chris entered the U.S. Navy at an early age and retired CPO after 21 years of service. He was a proud and devoted Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He is survied by wife Jeanette, children Keith and Muriel Christman of Bakersfield; Michelle and Douglas Smith of Mineral; Kerrie and Steven Smith of Bakersfield. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Cole and Cody Christman;Brandy and Jason Smith; Buck,Beau and JC Holler and 10 great grand children. Private graveside services on Friday. www.bakersfield.com/obits
