Pamela Louise Holt, a beloved member of her community, departed this life on October 30, 2025, in Mattawan, Michigan, at the age of 71. Born on January 15, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, Pamela’s life was marked by an unwavering dedication to those she loved and an indomitable spirit of service.
For thirteen years, Pamela selflessly served on the Women’s Auxiliary for the Volunteer Fire Department, a group she helped co-found. Her dedication and compassion were evident in every effort to support the firefighters and their families, earning her deep respect and admiration throughout the community she so lovingly served
Beyond her impressive contributions to public service, Pamela was a nurturing and loving soul whose family and friends cherished her undeniably warm heart. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Bruce Holt, and their children: Jennifer Holt, Brian Holt, Michael (Dawn) Holt, and Donald (Jennifer) Holt. She was a proud grandmother to Ashley Holt, Michael Holt Jr., Jordan Holt, Austin Holt, Logan Holt, Victoria Holt, Brandon Holt, Donald Holt Jr., and Nathan Holt, as well as a great-grandson to Ashteyn Holt. Her legacy further extends to her siblings, including Kathy (Tony) Sielski, and her nieces, Tara Murphy and Megan Mishevish, alongside many other family and friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Pamela's life was enriched by her passions. She found joy in crafting, dedicating her time to crochet and cross-stitching with love. Often, she could be found seated outdoors, surrounded by nature, uniquely content while creating beautiful pieces and observing the deer and turkeys that frequented her yard. Her love for flowers, particularly geraniums, also adorned her home, adding vibrant beauty that mirrored her own radiant spirit.
Pamela’s love extended beyond her family and hobbies to include her cherished dogs, especially Trixie, who remained a loyal companion. Her affection for all creatures was a reflection of her kind-hearted character and gentle spirit.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clarence and Geraldine Hall, who instilled in her the values of compassion and commitment to family that she so beautifully embodied throughout her life.
As we remember Pamela Louise Holt, we honor her legacy of love, service, and creativity. She touched the hearts of many and will forever remain in our memories as an extraordinary woman whose impact will resonate for years to come.
