“Paul jr, so sorry for your loss. I used to work with you at cambrige ind. sorry I'm just now seeing this. Would've loved to have came and paid my respects. Take care my friend.
We were so sorry to hear of Hugh's passing. I'm glad we were able to get together again after all these years and to meet you. We'll miss him and the good times we had.
Remember the good times you had together as you celebrate a life well lived
“Dear Penny and family, Hugh was a boyhood friend, a classmate and a teammate during my youth in Marion, VA. At our first reunion of the class of 1955 in 2000, it was so nice to meet Hugh and Penny after 45 years of separation. Our theme of "We are who we were" was certainly the case for my friend, Hugh. That same smile, sense of humor, leadership and work ethic was still quite evident. Knowing Hugh, I know he is enjoying an even more special reunion now. May God comfort you...
My deepest sympathy is with you during this very dark and somber time. Uncle Hugh was an amazing man and truly one of the greatest men to ever step foot in my life. I could sit here and go on and on about the times I had with you all but I will keep it short. Thank you for everything that you and Uncle Hugh do and have done for me! All the love and support is now being sent your way to help you through this time. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU UNCLE HUGH AND AUNT PENNY!!!
“I was saddened to receive word of the passing my friend Hugh. I grew up in the same neighborhood, went through elem-hi school, participated in sports and many activities with him, then continued our camaraderie at Lees-McRae College. I cherish the memories of our time together. Joyce and I send our thoughts and prayers to Penny and family.
“Hugh was my special friend in high school(Class of 1955) and beyond. He was a good person, and I am blessed to have had him for a friend. God bless Penny and the family.
“We send our deepest sympathy and thoughts and prayers to you Penny and all of your family. Hugh was a wonderful athlete, classmate and friend. Sincerely, Peggy (Jarrett) & David Fuller
