“Just heard of Paul's passing. My condolenses to the family and especially to Mark. I remember Paul (and Mark) as part of Boy Scout Troop 92 out of First Lutheran Church, Columbia Heights.
“I knew Paul at Gulfstream he was a great guy and got excited about his vactions to the Islands, There are far too few like Paul , My thoughts are with the family. You are Missed Paul,Til we meet again my friend
“I knew Paul back in the day. We worked together at the old Harvest House cafeteria while still in high school. Paul was a lot of fun to be around -- we hung out a lot outside of work. Life happens, and we lost touch after Paul went into the Air Force. By chance I saw this obituary and was immediately taken back to the fun times we (and others) had while still in high school. My heartfelt condolences to Paul's family and friends.
“Dear Paul I hope you rest in peace Thank you for giving me wonderful son Nick. You will be missed dearly you will always be in my heart. Good bye my friend.
“Dad you were my inspiration, my anchor, and above all else my mentor. Through life we had our obstacles, our trials, our tribulations. Through all this I could not ask for a better dad. Thank you for all you have taught me and all that you still have to teach me in spirit. I will continue to move forward till the day that I can be with you again. Always will you be in my thoughts and prayers
“I enjoyed working with Paul. He had a kind and good heart. He will be missed.
“Paul is missed here at Gulfstream Aerospace. He was a good writer and an even better friend. May he rest in peace. God bless his family as they walk the pathway of grief.
“Everytime I think of Paul, I remember all of the fun times that I spent not only staying at your house for a couple of weeks each summer, but all of the trips that our families took together. I will always treasure those times with all of the Thorson boys. Wish I would have been able to spend more times with everyone over the last years, but you are always in my thoughts. Love you all.
“We are very saddened to learn of Paul's passing. It was a pleasure living next door to the Thorson family in Fridley, MN-- for our entire childhoods. Our prayers for comfort, at this sad time, go to Paul's son, and brothers, also, a special thank you for the year's of comfort your Mother Grace, gave to our Mother Ruth, when our father passed.
