Kanel Family, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Kanal. I grew up on 16th street in North Chicago(back in the 70's) and remember Mr. Kanel very well. He was a very kind and friendly man to everyone. He always had a friendly wave and hello no matter who you were. You family is in my prayers as you find comfort in his memories. God bless you!

I met Pete through Co-op Credit Union and re-acquainted with him at the Peacock Restaurant.
