PETER MACGREGOR-SCOTT Obituary
Peter J. It is with broken hearts that we inform you of the loss of this wonderful, warm, and unique man. Peter passed on Sunday, October 29th. Peter was an acclaimed producer who had more than 90 films to his credit. Peter is particularly known for producing The Fugitive, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Perfect Murder and Under Siege. His resume also included The Jerk, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Revenge of the Nerds, Troop Beverly Hills, Out for Justice, Born in East LA, The Guardian, Black Beauty and as production manager on Animal House. Peter was a magical combination of brilliance, kindness, optimism, loyalty, mischief and passion. His was treasured friend of too many to be named. Peter is survived by his wife Susan (nee Brustien); his daughter Elizabeth Kennedy, her husband Murray and, their children, Megan and Autumn; his son Taylor Macgregor-Scott and his wife, Lauren and; his brother Ian. The funeral is scheduled for Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:30am, Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Avenue at 81st Street, New York, NY 10028. It is our intention to plan a celebration of Peter's life in Los Angeles in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Make-a-Wish foundation in Peter's honor.

I worked with Peter on The Great Texas Dynamite Chase. I remember him as particularly delightful and very clever. I am very saddened by this news and send my condolences to the family.

I am so saddened to just find out about Peter's death. I loved him dearly. He was the greatest. David Irving and I hired him to be the producer, associate Producer, UPM, and First assistant director on our very first low budget Roger Corman movie, THE GREAT TEXAS DYNAMITE CHASE - we couldn't have done it without him - he gave us courage, and he believed in me as a director , and gave us all the joy of movie making . I just returned to NY to discover the news.
