Not sure what to say?

He was an amazing grandpa, and loved his grandchildren dearly. We had so many memories together. Like playing phone store, eating breakfast every morning together, etc. We miss him a lot.

I am heartbroken to hear of Phil's passing. He was usually my first call of the day at work. We had a code for when he needed my help.

Philip was always a pleasure to work with. So kind.

We all enjoyed working with Phil. The Byron Center Chamber used our software and Phil was a regular caller to support. Most of the time, our first call of the day. Got to know him personally with his stories of his children and grandchildren and drum corps. He will be missed. RIP.

I am so sorry to hear about Phil! He was such a loving person.

I recently had the honor of meeting Phil over the summer to help him with some tasks at the Byron Center Chamber of Commerce. I just found out about his passing. While I only had the opportunity to meet with him once, yet had several phone conversations with him, I know the community has lost a wonderful and kind soul. Sending peace, love and light to Phil's family.

The world has lost a wonderful man but heaven has gained a Saint! RIP Phil and thank you for your service to our country and our Cutlerville chamber. My sympathy to the Tietz family.

While I didn't know Phil well, I knew he was passionate about service. He always had something nice to say, he was a hard worker and dedicated. He was always upbeat, which speaks volumes to his character. You will be missed Phil in the Chamber world, by your loved ones and family. I was privileged to have been one of his Chamber friends! Rest in peace...

Deepest sympathy to the family.
