Phillip Buckman Obituary
Phil was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Alice Buckman. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty,and two sons, David (Rebecca) and Jon (Amy). He was a proud grandpa to Aaron (Arielle), Elizabeth, Dani, Christopher and Grace, and enjoyed one great-grandson, Robert.
Phil is also survived by six siblings, Amanda Buckman (Jim), Steve Buckman (Cookie), Joe Buckman, Mary Poore, Paul Buckman (Melanie) and Becky Buckman (Ralph), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Retired from 35 years in paint and hardware. His hobbies were computers, movies, anime, Comicon, NASCAR, and Cardinals basketball shared with his family, and an evening dinner out. But #1 were holiday visits back and forth with "the kids".
Phil was so loved by many and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. His funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy., followed by burial at St. Andrew Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

I wish I had some magic words to take away the pain you are experiencing. This new journey is certainly not of your choosing and I know has just begun.
