Phyllis Ann Blair Hill, born on May 25, 1947, in Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on October 28, 2025, at the age of 78. She lived in Chatsworth, Georgia.
Phyllis was a dedicated manager for Lawtex/Springs, where she worked for about 20 years, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Her work ethic and commitment were matched only by her devotion to her family.
She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment as she watched them grow and learn. Her family was her world, and she created countless beautiful memories with them that will forever be treasured.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father Joseph Blair; mother Ruby Blair; sister Betty Jo Laney.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Arnold Hill, Jr.; her children: Alan (Sarah) Hill; Deanna Hill (Kenny Caraway); Grandchildren: David Hill, Amber (Robin) Hill, Joseph Caraway, Jared Caraway (Kilie Ridley), Christopher (Alyssa) Hill, Alana Hill, Alak Hill (Jacie Johnson), and Bradley Hill; Great-grandchildren Alison Hill, Hunter Hill, Salem Haynes, and Colten Hill. She also had several special friends that we want to thank for loving her.
Phyllis's journey in this world came to an end due to natural causes. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her ashes will be laid to rest at a later date at Panama City Beach, FL. In honoring her memory, the family invites everyone to join in celebrating her life with stories, laughter, and love. Please feel free to write notes of love and memories on this obituary wall for the family to forever enjoy.
