The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God...

It saddens me so to lose my cousin and dear childhood and lifelong friend, Randall Allen. It further saddens me for the loss felt by his family ... his mom Shirley, his dad Russell, his wife Rhonda, his children, his grandchildren, and his brothers. I have not been able to spend a lot of time with Randall during our "adult" years, however, it is obvious he was a very loving and well-thought of man who had an amazingly full life, though short. "I love you Randall!"

We would just like to let Rhonda and her family know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We loved Randall very much. We Never got to see very often but I know that whenever I did he was always the same ol' Randall. Randall was a great person. He never had to say a word, it was almost like you could just tell he had something special about him. He was kind and so thoughtful. Just someone that you were happy to say that you knew. I am very sure that right now alot of people are really...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He...

For all the years I have known Randall he has brought happiness and fond memories to my family. He was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back if that was all that he had. His love for my sister, their kids, and grand children simply could not be measured. He loved life, family, and friends. He walks with Jesus now and I know he looks down on us with that smile that only he could give. Good bye my brother you will be missed until we meet again.
