Randy “Oggdog” Ogden, 63, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on October 20, 2025.
Randy was born on September 9, 1962, to Ralph and Susan Ogden in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Linden McKinley High School, where he met many of his lifelong friends and started a band. A self-taught guitarist from a young age, Randy was a talented musician, a gifted artist, and a skilled craftsman. He loved to build and create-always working on projects around the house.
Randy had an endless curiosity and a playful spirit. He could never sit still and always found something to keep his hands busy. He enjoyed playing games like foosball, chess, and cornhole, and he was truly just a big kid at heart.
Randy is survived by his two daughters Audrey Ogden and Monica Ogden, his sister Lois Ogden (Coyer), his two grandchildren Dreyden Carte and Troyen Carte, and his two nephews Sean Ogden and Justin Ogden. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will always remember his creativity, humor, and generous heart.
