If I couldn't locate my husband Allen, I'd usually find him leaning on the back fence talking to Ray. I can't imagine having a better neighbor! His sense of humor was wonderful and overall personality was definitely a gift from God. His heart was huge and he gave from it more than anyone else I know! He will be missed!!

Ray was caring and friendly, with a contagious sense of humor. I will remember him as a remarkably happy person, who cared for his family and their friends both genuinely and generously.

I recognized this dear man's photo and more significantly, recognized the description written regarding his sweet spirit and kindnesses. My family was merely acquainted with him via the time my father was a roomate during a rehab stay following an illness in 2006. They also shared a few memories of Sperry-Vickers. Mr. Bell always had a funny story to tell us each time we'd visit my dad. Indeed, what a bright and shining soul.
God's Blessings,

I was always impressed how well Ray could keep up, both physically and mentally, with those many many years younger than him....he will be greatly missed

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Sorry to hear about Ray. God bless all of you.

Ray was a major influence in my life; his strength and candor were only matched by his sense of humor and grace. He was a great friend.
