Not sure what to say?

Just found out- loved him and Boomtown growing up in Boston. Happy trails, Rex. Richard Siles

Rex Trailer is,was,as well as always will be the most personable person who's ever walked on this earth.
I'm a die-hard fan of his,As his Daughter Jillian described me, and Rex even used to drop into the aqueduct of my neighborhood via his helicopter to visit Sid Pike the then Manager of WBZ-TV-4 in Boston,MA.One time Rex was even a guest of Sid's Daughter's at her Bas-mitz-vah.
I even covered these bases with Rex at The Joe Val Blue Grass Festival on June 21,1998 and 21...

Jill and family, you will always be in my prayers! You probably don't remember my family but my grandparents lived next door to you. I remember going there and then visiting with you and your mom & dad and swimming in the pool! We always watched your dad's show as well!! Sincerely,
Jeanette Renaud

I had the distinct honor to study under Rex at Emerson College (1975-1979) but to also work with him at his studio. He was one of the sweetest men I knew. Growing up in NJ, I didn't get to see him on the air as a kid, but wish I could have. God bless you Res.

Rex Trailer was a great teacher on his show and a great friend always recognize me at the special events locally & on the California tour. He will be missed . Happy trails to you Rex till we meet again Glenn Comeau

Rex Trailer was the best thing to happen on a Saturday early morning. He showed the old king cartoons and the Sergent Billy along with another character that died. And Rex handled his death with grace knowing that it was the first time most children dealt with it. My twin sister and I got to watch it at my Nana's house. Very happy memories.

To Jillian
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time on the passing of your father
If you need help with anything please let me know.Hope that we can get together soon.Once again my thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time.
Regards,Susan Furman

Talk about "class", some spend their whole life trying to achieve it; others, like Rex were born with it. Knew Rex well, first at Air General an many hours shooting landings on Big Island Pond. Last time I saw Dallas was just before he went to PanAm; Did see Rex many times and always asked to be remembered. Dallas may not be aware but another of the Air General original crew recently passed...Nelson B. Lee. My condolences to Rex's family and to Dallas. Fond memories
