Not sure what to say?

Madeline and Family: I am so sorry to hear that Richard has passed away. He was one of the best Christian people I have ever met. He was genuine and not phony: he did his best to follow God's word. I really enjoyed his laughter and humor as a small boy. He was always helpful and he was instrumental in my being able to attend Shenandoah Valley Academy. May God bless the entire family and give you strength to cope in this difficult time.

Our prayers are with the entire family.
Love, Jeanie, Gail & Greg Broeckel

Morning Glory shot in Gold River, CA

The giant inspirational man, Richard Hevener has stepped aside to rest awhile, and we honor his life with deep respect. His artistry with the CAT was a joy to behold, as he cut in the driveway and leveled the pad for our first home in Staunton, and you would ask yourself, "How does he do that?" Then he would
motion for our two little boys, Richard and Wesley to sit on his lap and let them move the levers that moved the machine that moved the mountain. It was the perfect...

One of the most genuine, decent, dedicated men I have ever known. A role model for husbands and fathers. A hard-working man who always gave back far more than he took in. The penultimate example of the Christian servant. I will miss his smile, his charm, and his love for life. Can't wait to see him again in the Kingdom.
