I worked with the Richard and the team at the Museum of Carpet for several years.
Richard dedicated a lot of his time to the museum and to Kidderminster. I'm pleased he got to see the museum begin to take shape if not the completion.
I enjoyed talking with Richard at meetings, I felt he respected my knowledge, and I learnt a lot from him about the carpet industry and the history of Kidderminster.

Have fond memories meeting up with Richard around the world at carpet exhibitions in my days working for Crossley Carpets in the '70's and what a true Gentleman & friend he was to spend time with. My sincere condolences to his family.
