“Dick was such a tremendous person and a great man. I always looked forward to and enjoyed our discussions about USF. I was so lucky to be able to call him my friend.
“We will miss him very much. Thanks Mr. Wittcoff for all your support.
“Dick was a very good friend, confidant, advisor, and business partner who quietly touched the hearts of those he knew and loved. He will be missed.
“What a wonderful man!
We will miss his big smile, big heart and warm words.
USF has lost a great supporter!

“Maureen and I have lost one of our dearest friends. Margie, please accept our most sincere condolences. Paul Griffin
“As the faculty athletic rep for USF from 1981 to 1994 (when I left USF for Auburn University), I spent many meaningful times with Dick. During that time he also became interested in the USF chemistry department of which I was chair. What a wonderful person to have blessed my life. I am deeply saddened with this news as I feel like I have lost a dear family member. Stew Schneller, Auburn, AL
Our deepest sympathies go out to your family at this time.
