I remember Robert Atkins well, but I knew him as Ducky and as most people can relate. Ducky and I, like many others were classmates at Fremont, since the ninth grade, we graduated together. I remember his smile most of all. His bright eyes and big smile. He was never the type to get angry all the time, or at least he didn't show it. Ducky you will always be remembered for all the good things and memories that only ...

Dear Atkins family,
i didn't know ducky for very long, but i can say that through out the time i have known him he has been a very inspiring person to me and he always will be in my heart. he may be gone but never forgotten.

i went to fremont and laney with ducky he was a very nice person he always had a smile on his face never looked down he was the type of person that if you felt sad he would cheer you up thats why i was so sad when i heard the news i couldnt believe it but he is in a better place and my condolunces go out to the atkins family ducky was loved and may god help you through these trying times.

I wnet to school with Ducky since 2000 at Fremont High School. He was a nice and great person. Every time i used to walk through the halls and pass Ducky he would always have a smile on his face. No matter what type of mood he'd be in he would always have a smile on his face. He was a really good friend even though we didnt speak on a daily basis. But DUCKY u'll always be LOVED and MISSED by us all. And to the family my CONDOLENCE goes out to you. Be strong Ducky's now in a better place.

I have known Robert ever since middle school...its kinda funny because i can still close my eyes and remember clearly the time we both were suppose to go to the eight grade dinner dance together... being the funny guy that he has been....he broke it off with me because he wanted to go with this other girl...Ducky...you didn't know but i laughed so hard afterwards...i'm surprised it took you awhile to say something, i knew from the beginning that something was going to happen...was it that...

I've lived next door to Ducky since before he was born. I never knew him much closer than a hello or a nod, but we watched each other grow up. Ducky was the good person everyone says he was. He carried himself with a lot of dignity, humility and humor. I can’t believe he’s gone. Please accept our deepest and warmest condolences for your loss.
