Dorothy my prayers are with you and your family. I'm so sorry for your loss and know that God will comfort you.

Dr. Bob James was my major professor when I was at A&M. He was my mentor and my support. He made returning to graduate school at a late age successful for me. I will miss his warm acceptance of my work and his support. He was one of the science educators in Texas and the US.

Bob was a good friend when I arrived at TAMU and I enjoyed my work and socialization with Bob. My wife and I especially enjoyed our vacation in Tin Cup. Our thoughts are with Dorothy and the family.

To express our deep sympathy to your loss. We thank Dr. James for his many contributions in Education at Texas A&M University. We also thank Dr. James for serving our country in the National Guard. Because of his service & other young men & women we have our freedom in this great country.

Dear Dorothy,
We were shocked and saddened to learn of your grief. We know that Bob is with our Lord and that our Lord will comfort you and support you through the sad and trying times. Your family and your friends are here for you too. We love you and we will remember and treasure the fun 42 times we shared.

Dear Dorthy -
We were shocked and so very saddened when Jim Schammerhorn called us and told us of Bob's promotion to heaven.
Tin Cup Chapel will not be the same without him. Please know that we are
praying for you and your family during this time of grief. As tough as it is,
the Lord will enable you and yours to
get through this...

Dorothy, Beth, Carolyn, Laura, and families;
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was shocked and dismayed to learn of Bob's departure -- thank you for your telephone call, Dorothy. My wife, Betty, has contacted Doug Palmer, Dean, College of Education, about a memorial at Texas A&M University for Bob. That fund is being established.
I shall miss Bob at our gatherings of the College of Education retired professors meetings. The attendees are being notified. I...

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Bob was my advisor, mentor and friend. Words cannot describe the impact he has had on my life, both personally and professionally. His passion and love of science lives on through the students he taught.

May God be with you.

God bess you all, my prayers are with you. You were great neighbors and I have missed you since you moved. I am honored that Bob trusted me to care for his plants when you vacationed.
