Not sure what to say?

Thank you to all who have warmly remembered our father. There will be a Memorial Service on January 18th at 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Waukegan.

I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I've known Bob since the mid 80's thru Camp Jorn, and more recently helped him with his computer at home. He will be missed. He was a good friend.

I am sorry to hear about your Dad.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Bob was a true and good friend and a tireless asset to our community for so very long. We first heard him speaking out at a City Council meeting almost 30 years ago. His combination of intelligence, concern and an all too rare willingness to "get involved" was a model for others to aspire to.

Bob joined us regularly for the Jazz Wave concerts in downtown Waukegan. He loved Big Band music. His raucous whistled accolades will be sorely missed. As will his work for and...

Bob was one of Waukegan's notables. You would always see him on his bike some place and he was a long time friend. After his wife died we used to go to dinner and talk over what was going on around the town. He loved talking real estate with me. My sincere condolences to his daughter and son and families whom he always talked about. He just never wanted to leave his house to move near them. He stayed independent until the end. God rest his soul.

With heartfelt sympathy to Bob's family. He and Jeanne were wonderful neighbors to my parents in Waukegan. Thanks to their attention and loving concern, my mother was able to remain in her home for many years after my father passed away. When my father was ill, Bob stopped by every single day to bring cheer and conversation. Jeanne and Bob were lovely, generous people and were much appreciated.
