I was very saddened to hear about Robert's passing. I worked with him on a few projects at Motiva. I learned of his death on a BRHS facebook posting and it was only then that I realized we also went to school together. I wish I had known so we could have shared a few stories. He was always a joy to work with. At the risk of offending any engineers, he was a rare find - being a very personable, humorous engineer. It took me a while before I caught on to his dry wit. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

We express our condolences to the Cheng family, many friends and colleagues . May you find comfort in your many fond memories together, God's promise to undo all tragedy and the words of the greatest man who ever lived: "Two sparrows sell for a coin of small value, do they not? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's knowledge. 30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So have no fear; you are worth more than many sparrows." (Matt 10:29-31)

To Robert's family and friends: I'm so sorry for your loss and am praying that the Holy Spirit will fulfill the promise of Jesus and comfort you in time. I never heard Robert say anything bad about anyone, a very admirable, rare, and exceptional quality. I'm sorry I was unable to meet you yesterday. I hope the services were as wonderful as Robert is.

Let me offer my deepest condolences to Robert's family and friends. Robert was a gentleman in the truest sense. He was loving and giving and deeply cared about those around him. Robert gave only his best to those around him. While I worked together with Robert only a few years on a Radio Project, I came to appreciate him as an individual and admired him for his effort and detailed care he brought to our project for the benefit of those who worked around him on a daily basis. Robert is admired and respected by those whom he interacted. While I share in the collective loss of Robert's passing, I am thankful that Robert was part of my life. God bless you and your families.
