Not sure what to say?

Bob was one of the sweetest, kind-hearted men I have ever known. He cared deeply for his family and I will always remember his warmth, smile and positive personality.

I remember Mr. Dougherty very well. He was my elementary school principal at Aquila in the 70's. I have fond memories of him. Prayers go out to the family.

My condolences to the Dougherty family. I have many, many fond memories of Mr. Dougherty from Aquila School. There are a few things that are highlights to me beyond his gentle spirit.

Every St. Patrick's Day, Mr. Dougherty would make an appearance in the lunchroom dressed head to toe in green and orange topped off with a green hat. Students would all squeal in delight when he would walk into the lunch room.

I also remember that Mr. Dougherty taught us the difference...

Bob Dougherty was my elementary school principal at Aquila. I remember him wearing green every St. Patrick's Day and he embodied the phrase (which helps you with spelling) "The principal is your 'pal'"

May the good Lord comfort the entire family. Mr Dougherty was my principal at Aquila in the 70's and I will forever remember is calm and caring demeanor. Thank you for the compassion and caring you showed.
