Not sure what to say?

Just got word of Robbie's passing from Paul Laidig. So sad to hear. Even though we were "competitors" back in the day, we were still friends. I only wish that I had stayed connected. I will always remember the great times we had growing up by the lake!!! Danceland forever!!!

Gary Leech, Drummer, The Victors

Just heard today about Robbie's passing. Bring's back lot's of good memories. Paul, John and Rob and of course Robbie playing in the basement on Birch Bluff. So sad to hear, may God hold you now. John Widing

Rob was THE powerhouse drummer in town. "I'm a man" (Yardbirds) was an explosion before its time. It was great being in his frst band, and his third or fourth. Rock On!

I offer my sincere condolences to his family. I am the widower of his deceased aunt, Lorna McNamee Brents.

I still play my guitar to the beat of Robbies drums. Those Blue Pearl Ludwig double Tom Tom drums. Our opening song..Baja by the Astronauts. The many practice sessions in your basement,I play much better today and my start was with the Poore Boys.Thats us on my brothers 1951 Chevy Truck.Lee and family my prayers will ask for comfort during your sorrow. Paul E. Laidig
