Not sure what to say?

Happy Birthday Love!

After my first Fr. Bob mass at St. Theresa in Austin many years ago, I was blown away by the homily, and Fr. Ed Jordan at the time was no slouch at homilies. I approached Fr. Bob after mass and told him how my hair do was now permanently affected and he reached into his cassock pocket and pulled out his handwritten notes from that Sunday and handed ithem to me. Not only that but he mailed me the notes of his subsequent several weeks of homilies.. I still have them. He is the only priest...

Fr Bob was one of the most generous and sincere individuals I have ever met. He had a way of making everyone feel special especially the young people that he met. He always encouraged them to be all that they could be and reach for the stars. You will be missed for your special ways of reaching out and your love for the "Blessed Mother". May you be at peace and in God's embrace.

Enjoyed our times shared loving concerts! May you RIP Father Bob

Fr. Bob, We will never forget your smile and laugh that was so wonderful to be around. You were such a huge blessing our family. We will all miss you so. Our deepest sympathy to the Herald Family.

Have always remembered the fun night several of us had in Rockdale with Father Bob. Jack, Ed and myself had driven from Bryan, attended Father Bob's evening Mass, then went out for Asian buffet, followed by ice cream, enjoying Father Bob's unique wit, and wealth of knowledge. He had a way of making everything fun and interesting. Such a simple night became a cherished memory all because of Father Bob!

Father Bob was the first priest in my life as he baptized me into the Cathloic faith. He had a great sense of humor. He will surely be missed. God bless as I know you are in the arms of the Lord.

Rest in peace Father Bob.
Gone but never forgotten.
You will be missed.
The Frank Mata family

Father Bob, Thank you for the spiritual help you extended to us. Thank you for your wonderful sense of humor. May you rest in peace and may Heaven be all you expected it to be.
