The Mounts took me right into their family when Julie and I became roommates in 313 Watson at UVA, carrying me to apple orchards, Skyline Drive hikes, and myriad picnics. Then I shared Christmas Day celebrations with them once Julie's twins were born. I did not know Mr. Mount had died until JUST NOW when preparing to attend Jesse's wedding.
