we met Bob and Lila on our French Barge trip.he met up with French people who had housed him during the war..a special event to honor him was held in Versailles and some of us went by train to the town to be part of this was a memorable occasion and he was pleased by our attendance..he and Lila came to lunch at our house when they moved to Georgia..they were special friends...My husband passed away May 24, 2013 I may have written Bob? not sure..
some day will meet again.

Bob and Lila were our neighbors and friends in Blacksburg. They were dear people. Bob always had the best yard on the block. So sorry to hear of his passing.
