Bob was a wonderful, generous man. My two children loved him. We have many fond memories of him as part of our family. I lost touch with much of my own family and never was told of his passing. My heart goes out to all of you. I am still in shock. There are no perfect words to comfort a family's lost.

As a sister to "Robbie's" best friend, I want to say what a treasure he has
been to our family. He was not afraid to share the hard times. He came over when our Dad was dying and brought a honey baked ham. I was overjoyed to hear he had accept
ed Jesus as his Lord and Savior. There is no greater gift we can give our family than the knowlege that we will see them again someday. Robbie, my brother in Christ, I know you are rejoicing in His glorious presence. We are the ones who are missing you. May the Lord comfort and strengthen those who loved him.

We are heartbroken over the loss of Bob. We are so sad for his family and friends and especially his wife Mary, stepdaughter Kathleen and his adoring granddaughter Isabella.
We have so many happy memories of Bob especially watching him playing and laughing with Isabella.
We are sad we're not able to be there for Bob's service and we are so very sad we're not able to be with Mary, Kathleen and Isabella in Charleston.
We will always remember Bob and the many happy times together.

We share your sadness at this special time and pray that Heavenly Father's richest blessings of comfort be with you all and allow you much joy in your remembrance of wonderful times shared together with your brother Bob on this earth. Know that we are not of this world and Father has allowed us an allotment of time here for a specific purpose and the greatest part of it is to gain and share happiness. This, Bob has fulfilled. Know too that he is just beyond the veil and one day all of Bob's family, and this includes his and your wonderful Mother and Father and all of you, will have the wonderful opportunity to be together again in a new and more perfect world with blessings far beyond our earthly understanding. We share our love with you all and are grateful you are in our lives.

Bob was a loving and thoughtful stepfather, grandfather to Isabella and husband to Mary Schweitzer. Isabella's last memories of her poppy was when he came to town a few weeks to visit her and Mary. They had great adventures around town. They got to celebrate his birthday early and that I am thankful for. Izzy left him a message singing happy birthday the morning of his passing before we were made aware. She loved her morning ritual phone calls from her poppy just to hear his voice. My heart is heavy with his loss for his sisters, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. The photo in his obituary brings back fond memories of his wedding day to my mother, Mary. Bob was not my biological father but treated me all the same. He will be missed dearly in charleston by his family and friends in South Carolina.
