Mr. Robert Leon Walker, Jr., affectionately known as “Rabbit Rabbit” born October 10, 1997 departed this life unexpectedly on November 17, 2017 in Richmond, VA.  Robbie was a loving young man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it more than him.  He was a loving and caring son. 


 


Robbie was baptized at an early age at Hope Outreach, 7th Avenue, Hopewell under the leadership of Pastor John Merritt.


 


Robbie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert M. Walker, Sr. and Martha T. Walker; uncles, Albert Walker, Jr. and Charles H. Walker, Sr. and maternal uncle, Edward “Poochie” Jones, Jr.


 


He leaves to cherish his memories:  his best friend and dad, Robert L. Walker, Sr. of Richmond; mother, Barbara L. Walker of Hopewell; maternal grandparents, Queenie Johnson (Oliver) and Edward Jones, Sr. (Marcella); a loving sister, Bernita Jones; one niece, Makayla Stark; one nephew, Blake Stark all of Hopewell, VA; best friends, Jovante “Biggie” Johnson, Eric Ellerbe, and Monique Casares all of Richmond, Raeshawn Sims and Christine Monscelous both of Hopewell; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.




Service for Mr. Robert L. Walker, Jr. will be held 4:00 P.M., Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, Va., the Rev. Herbert Holly II, eulogist.

The family will assemble 3:30 P.M. at the funeral establishment.
