I am forever grateful that Mr Cook taught me Marketing my Senior Year. In the years since I graduated from high school Mr Cook was always a good friend. Always enjoyed bumping into him at Rickys Market and different places. I will miss Mr Cook.

Mr.Cook was a great coach and teacher. He will certainly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Wendy,My dear friend. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I just found out today as I was reading the Piedmont Shopper. My heart breaks for you, but we must appreciate the time we have with our loved ones. I know you wouldn't trade a day that you spent together.

Not only was he a great teacher but he was a friend too. He made learning fun and he cared about all his students. He taught so many of us MORE than just academics or sports, he taught us lessons in life. He will not only be missed by his family but the entire community.
May God be with the family and comfort them during this sad time.

I was blessed with such a wonderful teacher, I hope you are at peace Mr. Cook. God bless you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about Coach Cook. I always had the highest respect for him as a softball coach and as a person. Even though we were very competetive against each other over the years, we were friends off the field. I pray that you will draw strength from the good Lord above as you celebrate a life that gave so much to so many young people. Coach Cook can be added to all those that were a gift from heaven, whose light will always shine in this world and forever in your heart. Coach...

Heartfelt sympathy to Roger's family. I had known him since we were teens. So saddened by his death. He will suffer no more in the arms of Jesus.

a legacy for RODGER COOK will last a long time in the mines of friends and softball players. he is already being missed

I never had the opportunity to have Coach Cook as a teacher while at Tunstall, but he always had a smile on his face and spoke to every one in the halls. Even years after I graduated, seeing him with the morning crew at Ricky's Mart he always asked how I was doing and how our football team was doing this year. Even though I did not play for him he will always be know as "Coach" to me. A term of respect! I hope that I can be such a role model to my players as much as Coach did for...
