“I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Roger's passing today. I have fond memories of riding with him to Effler's store from Black Mtn Campground in the VW beetle so I could get a can of corn for trout fishing, he always wore his funny Pabst Blue Ribbon beer shorts, I loved listening to his funny stories by the campfires at night. Savor the memories & know you're in my thoughts & prayers. I know he will be missed.
I am so sorry about your dad. He was a great man and I know this is a huge loss for all of you. Even after all these years there's never a time I drive through Highland without thinking of you and your family. I love you like I always have and will be thinking of you and praying for you.
Take care my friend,
Lori Benfield Williams
“So sorry to hear about Roger's passing. He was a gentleman and a good neighbor to my folks. Always enjoyed camping with the whole family when we were kids. A special memory for me was when Roger let me ride back to the house in the cab of his 18 wheeler. You're in my prayers and thoughts.
“I will always remember Roger's smile and humor. I'm sorry for your loss. May the memories bring you comfort and a smile. Praying for you all.
“I am sorry to hear of Roger's passing. He was kind to me, in my childish days. I never heard a stern word from him. He was a good Man.
“Dirk, We are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Please know you and your family will be in our prayers. God bless you. Jeanna Lawing Bullins
