Ronald Lowe Burger, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 30, 2025, in Sperry, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. Born on December 24, 1941, in Ontario, California to Fritz and Lillian (Hamlin) Burger, Ron’s journey began in the sunny landscapes of Gilbert, Arizona, where he grew up and received his education, later graduating from Gilbert High School. He also pursued further studies at a Bible college in Stockton, California, setting the foundation for a life filled with dedication and hard work. Ron married Patsy Jane Woodard on October 20, 1962, in Mesa, Arizona and have made their home in the Sperry community for the past 10 years.

Ron spent his career as a truck driver, thriving as an owner/operator. His life on the road was not just a job to him; it was a passion that allowed him to explore the vastness of the country while connecting with people along the way. He embraced the challenges of the open road with a spirit of adventure, always returning home to where his heart truly lay—with his family.

A man of many interests, Ron found joy in collecting semi-trucks and tractor trailers, with a living room adorned by memorabilia that told stories of his favorite sports teams. He was an ardent fan of the Dodgers baseball team, loved cheering for the Raiders football team, and passionately followed the Phoenix Suns in basketball. His enthusiasm extended to college sports as well, where he supported the University of Arizona football team and the Oklahoma Thunder basketball team. Ron's spirited devotion to these teams mirrored his personality—a man who deeply cared for those he loved and cherished every moment spent with them.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Patsy, who remained his steadfast partner through life’s joys and trials. Together, they created a joyful home filled with laughter and love. He is also survived by his two daughters, Rhonna Hendrickson and her husband Mike, and Chasity Reckinger and her husband Chad. The pride he took in his family was immeasurable, and he cherished the time spent with his seven grandchildren

Nikki Bowers, Lindsey Cash, Ashlee Armstrong, Tiffany Vandagriff, Dylan Davis, Kyle Reckinger, and Aiden Reckinger and thirteen great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Additionally, he leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom will remember him fondly.

Ron will be profoundly missed, not only for his warm and generous spirit but also for his unwavering love and support for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fritz and Lillian Burger, his brother, Gary Burger Sr., and his sister, Sharon Oravetz. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and their memories will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones.

As we gather to remember Ronald Lowe Burger, let us carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and passion for life and his Lord and Savior. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with the warmth he shared so freely with all who knew him.
