Not sure what to say?

Our heartfelt sympathy to the family. I have fond memories of Sammy and his brother, Andy singing at my "sweet" 16 birthday party. I also recently lost my brother. Our prayers to the family.

Sammy was a great talent with a charitble heart who entertained and gave love to many. Though his voice and his gentle nature will be missed here, I know he's already leading the chorus in heaven. Condolences to Sammy's family and many many admirers.

My condolences go out to the family. I will never forget the good times that my brother, Frank Maniscalco had with you and your brothers many years ago.All the gatherings you all had at my Mother's house. You were such a great friend to him and I thank you for that. I have so many good memories seeing you and Andrew throughout the years singing. Now you can reunite with Frankie and enjoy each others company. He's been waiting a long time. Make him laugh, Sammy!!I know you can. You will...

I'm sorry to read of Sammy's passing. Peace be unto his family. (from daughter of Josephine Varsellona...friend of Sammy's mother long ago).

May all the great times with Sammy help you get through this very difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Arena family. Sammy will be truly missed by all.

Thanks for the memories! I remember the wonderful times we had dancing at the North Blvd. Rec Center, Monday nights back in 1960. You were a very special guy! May God's peace be with you and your family!

I can't find the original obit that I wrote. I know I said that I wouldn't forget your help in helping find work for Amado. Your help & encouragement was such a blessing. My kiddos are doing great (in spite of all the mistakes raising them). Rocky is a City of Tampa firefighter,haz-med, and engineer. It looks like his boys are going to followw his footsteps.. Trey has already passed his EMT and is wowrking for an ambulance company. He has interviews with the City & County. Jake...

To say that Sammy will be missed is an understatement. He was loved and respected by all. To him, he was a special friend and a wonderful man. God Bless You dear friend. I will miss you - Keep the angels singing as I am sure you will. Love to Andy, the boys and the entire Arena family.
