Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Sandy's death. He was my mentor, colleague and friend since we first met at his laboratory in Berkeley in 1962. He was very proud of his Jewish heritage and has been a vocal supporter of Jewish causes. I hope his wonderful daughters ( one of whom I recall as a red head and guitar player?) would follow in his footsteps. Levy Kopelovich

A wonderful friend, a cherished neighbor, a special man: he gave so much to his family, friends, and the world at large. He will be missed very much - Linda Lipscomb

So very sorry to know about Sandy's passing. He was such a kind, intelligent and thoughtful gentleman. But also so glad that in the last years of his life, he found a new "hanai" family right across the street. It was a Godsend from the start, but especially after the passing of his beloved Marjorie. You brought true light and love into each others' lives, and I know he treasured it daily.
