Not sure what to say?

Dear Dave,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am still not understanding life in some respects after losing my Dad. Your mom sounds like such a beautiful person - rich in talents, love and relationships. She led a life of beauty and love. And she had the beautiful blessing of seeing her son as a man - also so rich in talent, love and friendships - she must have been so proud of you!
It is the worlds loss when we lose a beautiful kind person. But I can't help but feel...

Dear George, Steve, and David,

I am so sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. She was very special.

Now there are only 3 in our "Riley" generation.

I regret that I never got to know Sandra's family. I had the great privilege of being her accompanist when we were in high school, and it still feels like one of the great privileges of my life. Her voice was one of my richest experiences. I am grateful to all of you who loved her in the years after she and I were no longer in touch.

Dear Dr. George - I was so sorry to hear of Micky's passing. I enjoyed so much being her voice student and class accompanist - and her friend. She was a delight. I will miss her. God's blessings on you. Brenda Tuttle (Crozet, VA)

Dear George, Steve, and David,
I am so sorry to learn of the death of Mickey. The world has definitely lost a wonderful, warm, and talented lady. I can't believe it.

I will never forget the twinkle in her eye and her great sense of humor. She was always a "happy camper"--a little term we often used in conversation.

I am sorry I did not know she was ill.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. She is missed by many.
With deep sympathy...

I had the priviledge of meeting Micky in the pool at water aerobics. She had such a good attitude and was fun to exercise with. Once when I saw her at the Performing Arts Center we joked about "not recogonizing each other with our clothes on". She was a great and gracious lady and will be misssed

Micky was my first vocal coach in college (in 1998) and her love of jazz inspired me and changed the direction of my life. I am grateful to have known her.

My deepest sympathy and warm regards to the family at this time. My memories of Mickey are quick smiles and funny conversations as we crossed paths many times on the ACC and UAA campuses from 1984 to 1998. She always had a kind word of praise or encouragement during my involvement with the greater Anchorage arts community.
Special regards to Steve who I worked with and enjoyed knowing very much during my years in Anchorage.

George, you have my deepest sympathy in the death of Mickey. Having worked with her in many areas of ACC and UAA, I consider her a good friend. I was in a couple of her music classes. My prayers are with you and your families.
