“So sorry to hear about your mom. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.
“Sandra was a great woman, teacher, and mother and has two amazing daughters to prove it. I know she is very proud of them both. Love to Sandra's family and friends. She will be very dearly missed. She already is.
Love & prayers,
“The year I had Mrs. Graves at Southwest Elementary School has been one of my most memorable school years ever. Mrs. Graves was beautiful, funny, and most of all she was fair. I have tried to use parts of her teaching techniques with my own children. My heart goes out to her family. We dealt with cancer with my father a few years back, and I do not wish that on anyone, especially not someone with such an impact on so many as Mrs. Graves had. She will forever be remembered in my heart.
“Having known Mis Graves for almost 4 years, It was my honor to have known her
As to her prowess with card games, the only game I ever beat her was backgammon, not a card game, only until she got the hang of it
She whooped my butt at EVERY card game
She was that good
She participated in many Veterans Events, including Soldiers Reuinon, USMC League,Det 1163 Birthday Ball, Veterans of Foreign Wars Suppers, Flagging Graves of Fallen Veterans
She understood Veteran's...
“I taught with Sandy at Longview Elementary. She was such a light to so many children. I admired her tenacity. She set high expectations for her students and they always rose to it. My condolences to her daughters.
