Not sure what to say?

I pray that the Barker family is comforted in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving her Heavenly reward for her earthly virtues. I treasure my memory of her gracious hospitality and a class in basketweaving in her home. The world needs more Sarah Barkers.

So sorry for you loss. We will keep your family in our Prayers.

Florence, I am sorry to read of the death of your mother. As we grew up together, meeting at your home to catch the bus, when it was so cold. She and your father was so kind. My sympathy to all of you.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you for your loss. Our Mother, Edith Thompson, loved her so very much. We all were amazed at her many talents and her love for life. She made a footprint in many paths and will be missed. May God comfort you with time and her presence still be with you. our love and prayers go out for you.
Judy Overstreet, Kristi Abbott, Mike Thompson and Edith D. Thompson.

So sorry for your loss. To visit Sarah in her home was always an adventure. Shelby, Boots & I & Dad & Mom truly enjoyed those times. She always made you feel so welcome. I will cherish the quilts I have that Sarah quilted for me. She was a great lady & she will be rejoicing with all her friends in heaven.
Sympathy for you all

My deepest sympathy to the Barker family. May the God of all comfort be with you at this very sad time. Thinking about some of the words in Psalm 90 verse 10, regarding age, it speaks about "special mightiness" for reaching 80 years of age. Your love one must have really had special mightiness having reached beyond that. It was a blessing for your family.

Sarah was "one special Lady". My Mother, Gertie Holley and Sarah were like sisters and I can see them now in heaven talking up a storm! She touched so many lives and certainly touched my family in such an extraordinary way. May each of you rely on God to give you love and strength during this time. I loved that wonderful Lady!

Sarah and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about the death of your mother. Although she lived to a rip age, I know it is difficult to say goodbye. Please know that my prayers are with you and your family.
