We felt blessed to know Sidney and spend time with him at the Grossman's. His humor kept us coming back for more! He inspired us with his passion for learning and love of the arts. We will truly miss him.

I was sorry to hear of Sid's death. I have many fond memories of him from the good old Mt Skinai days. He was a fine clinician and teacher and a good friend. Myh sympathy to the family.

I wish to extend condolences to the family of Sid Shapiro, May their memory be for a blessing. I wish you long life!

Dr Shapiro was part of our Department of Neurology at the Univ of minnesota since it started. Over the years he contributed greatly to the department funcitons and an award was named after him for distinguished residents in neurology.He attended our rounds regularly and contributed much to education and the art of medicine.
He was a fine, unasuming man and we will miss him in the University.
