May you continue to stretch your hands to the "God of Comfort" during this most difficult time in your life.

I lost touch with Stanley many years ago and it seams so strange that on the 31st of August I ran across a picture he gave me when I was in grade school and showed it to my husband of 62 years and told him who it was. I got a call today from a cousin telling me she saw in the paper where he had died. I am the daughter of Mattie Lillian Alford Sawyer and have lived in Gainesville, Fl for approx. 53 years. I am so sorry for the loss to the family and wish I had stayed in touch. He was mama's...

With deepest sympathy to the family during your time of grief...God is for you a refuge and strength, A help that is there to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead...(Psalm 62:8).

Cindy, So sorry to hear about your uncle passing When he was at Agape Kathwood he and I would talk a lot. I know he is in a better place and happy seeing his family once again. He will be missed.Take care of your self.

Mr Alford was my chemistry teacher at Brookland Cayce High School in the mid 50's. He was a kind and caring teacher. Thankful for his service to our country

We are so sorry about the death of Mr. Alford. We thank him for his service to our country, fighting to rid our world of tyranny cruelty and injustice. We owe so much to "The Greatest Generation".
