I have known and worked with Staney for many years and was deeply saddened by his death. I will always remember and appreciate his wit, kindness, guidance and positive attitude. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends. I will never forget him.

Stan was one of a kind. Someone you never forgot, once you met him.
I have many fond memories of Stan's unique character and sense of humor during our days at Square D. He was a natural blend of engineer, Renaissance man and gifted story teller.

I have known “Mr Alves” for many years and I have many fond memories of him. He and my father were good friends and we spent time together beginning when I was five years old. I remember stories of Indians and his time in the Navy and of his years at UK. I will always remember him with a big smile and lots of laughter. His personality was larger than life. Yes, Mr Alves, you were alright.

Stanley was a special person who assisted many of us during our Sq D careers. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the members of his family for the voids left in their hearts.

Stanley was & still is such a great person. He made Jack, Jeff & I feel so welcome when we moved from our home in Lincoln, NE to Oxford. I know he will be missed by many. My thoughts & prayers go out to you! Linda Barta
