Not sure what to say?

Mr. DiNanno was one of my favorite and most memorable teachers. He made us laugh and learn. I was a little scared of him at first because he sounded like he was yelling sometimes but I later realized that it was the passion he had for English grammar and literature. He had a booming voice and you never knew when he'd shout your name and you'd have to stand up and recite one, many or nearly all the parts of speech as memorized from his mimeographed handouts. Mr. DiNanno was my 9th-grade teacher at Lane Tech in 1985-86. I was in his class when we heard the Space Shuttle Challenger had exploded. He was a great guy and I'm glad he lived a long life with a loving family. My sincere condolences.

You have my deepest sympathy. May God give you peace and strength to keep you going during your time of sorrow.

My most heartfelt condolences to the Dinanno family. With much love and respect.
