Susan L. (Santos) Dye, 64 of Ruffsdale, passed away, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Frick Hospital. She was born March 26, 1959 in Staten Island, NY a daughter of the late Joseph and Eileen Morrill Santos. She was everyone’s second mom and she loved them like her own. A compassionate caregiver to so many and just a beautiful soul. Generous, loyal, and loved by all. Susan is survived by her children, Matthew (Leah) Dye and Manda (Chuck) Watts; three brothers, Jay (Doreen), Kevin and Brian (Tammy) Santos: a sister Geroldine (Tyler) Keeney; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; her special meathead, Muggsy; grand dogs Buster & Enzo and a special thank you to her best friend Mark Kucsmas, who was always by her side. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Dye, Jr. A sister-in-law Joanie Santos, mother in law Carm Cooksey, and Uncles Rich, Fred, Kenny(Bonnie) Morrill. Services will be private. Inurnment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
