Dear Bob and family, For the years that I have known you I have valued your friendship. You and Sue welcomed me into the Messiah family and have helped me during my darkest days. Please accept my sincere condolences. Gene Klein

Sorry for your loss. My thoghts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow (Brenkwitz Elementary)

First let me express our deepest sympathies to you Bob and your family. I personally met you and your wonder wife when I was 9 years old. I am now 64. Sue taught me in Sunday School, chaired Pot Lucks, and was always busy at church. You and Sue, Dick and Joyce Henricshen, Barbara and Jerry Bathke and for a time my parents Don and Dorothy Burmeister were the young families of a new church Messiah Lutheran. She was a person you never forget and are forever glad she came into your life. ...

I was so so sad to learn of Mrs. Kallestad's passing. Mr. & Mrs. Kallestad and my parents, Joyce & Richard Henrichsen, started Messiah Lutheran Church together and were great friends for many years. Bob and Sue were staples of my childhood. My thoughts and well wishes go out to Bob and the entire family. I will forever remember her loving smile and that happy face that always greeted me whenever I would see her.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
