Kurt and family, i was out of town and missed services for your mom. i want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. kurt, if you recall, i was very close to your brother tom when he was at st. johns; i know that your mom must have been an extraordinary woman to raise such a fine group of people. she will live on in all of you. what a legacy! remember the good things about her and cherish the time you had with her. you will see her again. love to all of you.

To all my Mackey cousins: We are so sorry we couldn't be there with you at this difficult time, but know that we were there in spirit and you have our prayers.
