Not sure what to say?

Maggie -
I am so sorry to hear of Teddy's passing. You were such an amazing advocate for her. I will remember her gentle way and loved to be caught off guard with her witty and humorous comments - with a twinkle in her eye. She always made me smile. God bless you! Yvette Kerr

I grew up at the Childrens Home with Teddy and always considered her and Howard among my best friends. Our friendship continued through the years after our time at the home. She and Howard always had a special part in my life and the life of my wife and children. Our thoughts are with the family she leaves behind, with a prayer that the many fond memories you shared together will make her homegoing a little easier.

I actually knew Howard Barnett better then I knew Mrs.Barnett, both were fine people. I use to help Mr. Barnett wash his car while I was living at the "Home".

Daisy, Bonnie, Judy and myself went to visit Mrs. Barnett while she was living in the nursing home about two years ago.

Trust God's Promise
There is nothing ever lost or eternally nelected, for everthing God ever made is always resurrected.
So trust God's all wise wisdom for in his Heavenly Kingdom there is nothing lost forever. So trust God's promise and doubt him never, for only thru death can one live forever. by poet,Doug Jones: Teddy Barnett,Live on, and we know you,ll be looking down on the children of the Salem Baptist Chilren Home.

Teddy gave back what she received by being a truly empathetic lady to all the children at the Baptist Home. She never forgot you even after many years of not seeing you. R.i.P. Dear Lady, you will be truly missed.

Teddy was everybody's servant. Her first words were "what can I do for you, Honey. For over 50 years she looked after me and my family. Teddy I know you are still serving Howard and others in Heaven. We miss you so much.

Teddy was always so sweet to me when I first moved to Salem over 30 years ago and was attending Salem Baptist Church. She was always smiling and so kind. She will be missed by many in the community. Thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Fond memories of a beautiful and special lady. She was a mother to all the kids that knew her. She is now getting her just reward for the hard work and loving care that she gave to all.

It was my great honor to have known Teddy while growing up at the home in Salem. She was quite the lady. Will be missed greatly.Gus E.Haynes Highland Springs,Va
